The BR series adopts a 46mm diameter shock absorber piston at the front to optimize the amount of oil contained inside and reduce the operating temperature and keep it more constant.
The characteristics of a shock absorber are a function of the viscosity of the oil, a viscosity that changes with the temperature of the oil itself. It is essential to try to keep the temperature as constant as possible during its use, either through external tanks or through pistons of adequate size, as for the BR series.
The threaded body of the shock absorber allows you to vary the height of the car without varying the stiffness of the spring itself, therefore it is possible to have a low car but at the same time not extremely stiff as happens with other shock absorbers.
The BC Racing Club Sport Coilovers (BR) have a more “track day” spring rate and damping settings. They are intended for track day enthusiasts but also for those who want to use their machine daily without sacrificing too much comfort.
The front and rear shock absorber damping is adjustable in 30 positions thanks to a knob on the top of the front shocks and a dial on the rear (simultaneous rebound and compression), while offering a wide range of ride height adjustment.
Each kit comes with a pair of AC keys, an installation manual and a warranty card.
