The top mount is a component that is placed between the shock absorber and the body dome. In order to improve steering precision and the structural resistance of the system, especially in the case of rigid setups, it is recommended to replace this part with one derived from motorsport: replacing the rubber with a uniball type ball joint allows to increase steering precision and guarantees better functioning of the spring-shock absorber group.
Our specific 695 Biposto top mount kit for Extremetech shock absorbers also allows for camber adjustment up to approximately -2.5°: increasing this angle allows for maximum tire contact with the ground during hard cornering.
The kit, made entirely of ERGAL obtained from solid, includes an innovative plate system with an integrated axial ball bearing to eliminate the noise during steering typical of top mount racing and a water protection to safeguard the uniball.
