The KW Variant 1 "inox-line" is our basic product for those who want a more pleasant and safer ride by customizing the height of their vehicle. Thanks to its quality finishes, stainless steel struts, anti-corrosion treated springs and the included limit switches, it is synonymous with driving pleasure as well as a long life for your car.

With the KW coilover suspension Variant 1 you can achieve, depending on the vehicle model, lowerings between 30 and 70 mm or between 50 and 90 mm in a TÜV-approved range. Even after years of installation, you can quickly and easily change the height of the vehicle thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the composite ring. The height on the front axle is adjusted via our composite ring with steel insert, and the same thing on the rear except when the car originally has a separate spring and shock absorber. In this case it is adjusted with our rear ring positioned above or below the spring according to the enclosed assembly instructions.

Our engineers develop a specific setup of dampers and spring rates for each vehicle model to optimally balance sporty driving, comfort and safety. Once you have installed a vehicle-specific KW coilover, you will never have to change the setup again. As a manufacturer, KW only uses its own resources, high-quality components and the same shock absorber technology as the high-volume series manufacturers.
